Software Engineer

Started as a backend developer after completing Summercamp 2019, a two-month intensive internship program. During the internship, we developed a basic auction platform using Django, learning about company culture and technologies while practicing teamwork and communication skills.

After the internship, I was assigned to Divar’s ad review team, developing software to facilitate human reviewers and automate the process. We increased the automation factor substantially, leading to a significant decrease in review time. I also worked on the resiliency and reliability of the system to prevent unexpected scenarios for end-users.

In 2021, I was transferred to the marketplace team, providing new facilities to professional users. I implemented new features in our submit repository and made several infrastructure improvements. Built and scaled various Divar systems on Kubernetes, optimized high-traffic workloads, and planned and contributed to the category tree migration.

Started as a Qt developer working on electrocardiogram device software. Developed different pieces of software using C++ and Qt framework for the GUI part. The whole system ran on a Raspberry Pi device, where I learned to work with the terminal for the first time. I switched to Ubuntu after realizing that developing software is much easier on a Linux machine.

I also initiated projects involving BLE devices and sensors, namely SensorTile by ST and an uncommon BLE device streaming fetus heartbeat data. While developing simple HTTP servers, I got into web development and decided to steer my career towards it. While learning new technologies in my free time, I was interviewed and hired as a backend developer at Divar.
